Contests
From Lithmeria
Opening Pantheon Contest
As has been mentioned in previous announcements the Gods of Lithmeria are player created and player driven. You can read more information about the systems of religion HERE. To help the heavens be populated when we open we are holding a contest to create a starting pantheon of about half a dozen gods. The winning Gods will be Mature Deities when the game opens, their designer and 3 others of their choice as the original upper council of the Deity (so collaborate with your friends!). Below is the form to submit for your God. A submission thread is being started in ideas with a sample god there, Nagenth, the first of the opening pantheon. A separate thread will exist for commentary and discussion on the various Gods.

Extra lore:
Name is fairly self explanatory as is title, of which there can be more than one, though the primary title should be listed first. Their realms of influence are what affairs of the world the Deity has sway over, and is one of the key factors in their creation. The description is a short bit about practices and beliefs, written as if your religion already exists within the world. Sample miracles can be utility abilities or combat and at least two should be listed to give an idea of your vision for the powers they give their followers. Priesthood restrictions are those restrictions put on those who progress to the rank of clergy within a religion. All Deities put a couple restrictions on their clergy, separating those who merely worship and those who speak for them. See the example deity for an idea of how strict the restrictions should be. Extra lore is where you can put anything that doesn't fit into the above categories to further flesh out the concept of your Deity.
Now get cracking and let's see some great submissions!

Rules
You can submit up to two Deity concepts each, so if you're torn between a pair of great ideas we don't have to miss out on one of them, but people won't spam the contest to increase their odds either.
The submissions and discussion will be open for a couple weeks and then a voting thread will be up and each person will be able to vote for up to 3 Deities, but not their own submissions. Voting will continue for about a week or so and then the winners will be announced and will be put into the game.
Obvious Disclaimer: "Gods of Pwn" and other such OOC silliness will be removed from the Submission thread. So don't be shocked if it happens
